DirectScreenTransfer™, video capture driver used in Radmin 3.0 has successfully passed all the Windows compatibility tests and received Microsoft’s digital signature.
In November 2006 DirectScreenTransfer™, video capture driver used in the new version of Radmin v3.0 remote control software was signed by Microsoft. This development has successfully passed Windows Hardware Quality Lab’s test specifications and got digital signature. The results of the tests confirm that the DirectScreenTransfer™ is fully compatible with all the requirements established by Microsoft. This guarantees Radmin’s expected performance and reliability. Since the moment of receiving the Microsoft digital signature the Radmin’s video capture driver is fully compatible with Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Vista.
DirectScreenTransfer™ technology was successfully implemented in the new version of Famatech’s popular remote control software. The results of this development allow users of Radmin 3.0 to reach data transfer speeds to the levels previously unachievable. The main advantage of DirectScreenTransfer™ technology is that the information about the updates of a remote screen is delivered directly by Windows bypassing Video RAM. The adaptation of the new video driver allows Radmin to dramatically increase the rate of screen updates with a minimum utilization of CPU.
According to Dmitry Znosko, Radmin’s chief developer and CEO of Famatech Corporation, “Microsoft digital signature implemented in Radmin 3.0, will eliminate any possible issues during installation process for end users. The adaptation of Microsoft’s digital signature in DirectScreenTransfer™ is a final step towards the release of Radmin 3.0”.
Radmin 3.0 is the new version of Famatech’s popular remote control software. Radmin’s main advantages include high speed, innovative corporate instant messaging communication tools and improved security system. The new video capture driver that uses DirectScreenTransfer™ technology permits the application to reach the maximum speed of data transfer of the remote computer screen. The new compatibility with Windows guarantees stable and proper performance for the users.
Currently, Radmin 3.0 is available for download as a trial beta-version from www.famatech.com. The release of the program is expected for the 1st quarter of 2007.
