The contest was held from July 25 to 29, 2014. The Quest participants were asked to work out the name, login and password for a remote computer, connect to it using Radmin, and send in the key displayed on the remote computer. The Quest garnered a great deal of interest with more than 256,000 connections to the Radmin Server. In addition to the competition itself, we were also keen to test how Radmin works at high loads. The results showed that Radmin continued to operate stably under these conditions.
Artem Grishin from the city of Cheboksary was the first to complete the quest, winning the ultimate prize: a Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB SSD! “I enjoyed the task very much, it was a really challenging one where you had to solve a puzzle. I'm so happy to win, I'm lost for words! Thanks to you and your company for this excellent gift on our professional holiday!” said Artem.
Sergey Krivenko from the city of Simferopol was selected at random from the rest of the participants to receive the Western Digital My Passport Ultra 2TB. Sergey was the 515th person to complete the Quest, and this proved to be his lucky number. A total of 1,334 participants from different countries successfully completed the Quest. They will receive a single Radmin 3 standard license.
