Features of Radmin vs Laplink
In the opinion of most of our users
who are familiar with both products, Radmin is superior
to Laplink in terms of usability. Radmin is so fast
that its 128 bit strong encryption is always protecting
your data, unlike Laplink, which uses MS Windows' CSP
(Cryptographic Service Provider) that is often only
40 bits. Some features that are present in Radmin are
absent in Laplink and vice versa, but the price difference
of the two is significant. A single license for Radmin 3
is $49 compared to $99.95 for Laplink.

Speed Comparisons
We performed two simple tests: dragging
an icon over the desktop (the distance between the real
cursor and the remote icon dragged) and minimizing/maximizing
a window displaying a 200KB image.
The results are shown in relative values (higher
scores are better performance).
