It is not a matter of "spying" by the boss. It is a matter of company security and privacy we all are entitled to, even in workplace. My company installed the software without informing anybody and, it seems that nobody is aware of the implications. If indeed the logs can be deleted then IT, who are the only users, can siphone off sensitive company information without anybody noticing and without a trace of proof.
It is also possible that when IT decide to make changes in your settings while you work and don't watch the "R" they can accidentally damage your work (it happened to me and it was not even remote access).
Thirdly, we all need occasionally do some private business while at work and wouldn't want anybody to watch our bank statements and credit card numbers.
In the previous company I worked for the remote access required the remote computer user permission.
This brings me to the main question:

Is there a setting I could change to allow me to stop the remote access to my workstation without my explicit permission ? I could not find it anywhere in the help function and FAQ which are obviously directed at the IT specialists and not at the potential "victims" of the nosy or bored IT department.
