Hello perhaps somebody has an answer for my question. I just downloaded the Advanced Port Scanner, and I scanned a friends ip address (which I know has no ports open) and it said that ports 25, 80, 110, 1080, 5190, and 8080. Is there some kind of error or am I doing something wrong? The host does not respond to ping command.

Thanks in Advance
Dude most of those are General ports.
email, web and the sort. 5190< I dunno.
As additinal, i can say that computer can be configured so it will not respond on "ping" command - this is just OS configuration that can be changed
