I work as a configuration manager in a big computer software company. Releasing a time limited beta (even for 14 days) brings up so many bugs that the QA could not find (There are too many machines and configurations out there to test all by yourself) and for free. This can speed and cheapen your entire process. I suggest you think this one over.

Please do not listen to this advice. Radmin 3.0 should have every feature that has been requested and then be thoroughly tested and validated to be bug free before you make any release. You should focus on features and quality and disregard those who are too impatient to wait. Even if this takes several years, it will be well worth the wait!!

We appreciate your experience and enthusiasm and such persons would be best beta-testers we could wish. If you'd like to take part in tesing of beta-version of RAdmin 3.0, you may leave your address at support@famatech.com. We'll contact you if public testing would take place.

Best Regards,
Ilia Demenkov, Famatech Support Team (support@famatech.com).

Alright! Now we are getting somewhere. If I understand correctly, you might have a public beta, but then again you might not. And whether you do or not, the timeframe is indeterminate.

It is just this kind of helpful information we have all been waiting for ever since April when you posted this on your "news" page: "We'll do our best to keep you informed of the progress of further development and testing."

Your best isn't very good, however, because the "news" page hasn't been updated since it was first posted. It is now nearly 26 months since 2.1 was released. It was more than one year ago that you first estimated that 3.0 was expected in the September/October (2002) timeframe, which became November/December, then first of the year...
