#1
I have two Linksys Routers hooked together connecting a total of 12 computers. Each router only supports 10 IP forwarding options. Because the second router I would think is acting as a switch I can not forward from the second router. Does anyone know if I could use port triggering? This is what I was considering.

1. On primary router set port triggering to allow ports 2001 to 2012 to come in to handle all 12 computers as a range of ports.

2. Then on each individual computer ONLY open one of the specified ports in the triggering range.

3. Then on the remote side, pick the individual port for each machine in it's own connection.

Has anyone else ran into this situation or tried this? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Chuck,

Yes, your solution will work. We have used a similar setup successfully.

Good luck,
