Radmin 3.0 Installation Error

When I try to install Radmin, it hangs.
I get to the point where it's creating A Temporary Folder and hangs there. I've let it go for hours but nothing happenes.
I've cancelled the installation and run Radmin Server on Its own, but at the point of choosing which startup mode to choose, it freezes the whole computer.

I just wnat installation to finish properly.
Help.

Are you installing locally or installing it, for instance, via a Remote Desktop / Terminal Server session? I have seen it fail with Remote Desktop.

What Version of windows. And do you have admin rights ... ?

Clayton Audi, send us please .nfo file with system configuration of the affected pc. You can create this file by running Start->Run->msinfo32 command.

Probably you faced this trouble due to incorrect mirror driver installation or driver conflict.

Roman Makarov.

Hi,

I'm running to the exact same problem. Was there a resolution on this?

Note: I'm running the install from a Remote Desktop session.

Also, maybe this will save me the trouble. In 2.2, after I connected to my PC with RDP, I would not be able to later connect with RAdmin, even after logging out of the other session. This, I think, is because RDP grabbed sessionid 0. Has this been addressed in any way in 3.0?

Thanks,

Wayne

I haven't had much success installing remotely via Windows Remote Desktop

You can actually release Windows Remote Desktop sessionid 0 by executing following on the remote PC:
Code
%windir% \system32 \tscon.exe 0 /dest:console

NOTE: This will leave the remote PC in an unlocked state.
I don't know if this will allow you to the connect to the PC with RAdmin.
If usefull, you could stick the command in a shortcut on the remotePC, for easy access.

Hope this was helpful
